About Terri

I was trained as an Animal Communicator by Marta Williams (martawilliams.com)

I have listened to and interacted with animals all my life and have gained a deep understanding of them. While growing up on a small farm with chickens, turkeys, guineas, cows, pigs, rabbits, pet birds, cats and dogs, I found that each individual animal displayed its own unique personality.  Not only did this show me that animals were much more intelligent than commonly thought at that time, it enlightened me to the realization that all animals are sentient beings like ourselves.

I was inspired to study animal behavior at Binghamton University.  A few years later, I started my own small organic produce farm called JOG for Health. I have nurtured chickens, guineas, homing pigeons, rabbits, dogs and cats for over 30 years. Through my organic produce business, I have gained extensive gardening experience. Presently, in addition to my farm plants, pets, dog and cat, I am volunteering at the Tompkins County SPCA.

Besides my love for animals, I pursued teaching people with disabilities as a Special Education teacher, finishing my masters degree while in my 40's.  I also taught traumatic brain injured people which helped me learn to really listen and empathize with those that need our love.

To further my abilities to love and heal animals and people, I have studied and practiced Chi Gong, energy healing from China.  This is similar to Japanese Reiki which I have studied and am certified as an Animal Reiki practitioner.  I also have learned to use Tellington TTouch which is bodywork that de-stresses and comforts animals.
