Why would your pet want to obey you?

It's usually not about them not knowing what you want them to do....though, sometimes it is. Many very intelligent pets will not obey their owners. Why not? Why should they obey? What's in it for them? They need an incentive.....just like we all do!

Number one, you need to ask them to do something they CAN do and, then, show them how.(via physical demonstration or pictures that you mentally send them).

Number two, they need to know they will be rewarded in some way. (treats, lavish affection, praise). Then, practice, practice.
